Role Descriptions

presents oral argument for (or against) pre-trial motion brought upon by defense, will answer questions posed by judge and refute opponents

control presentation of evidence at trial; direct, cross, redirect examination, opening & closing statement; objections

supply facts for the case using official testimony, fact situation, exhibits, and stipulations

aid judge in conducting trial; calls court to order;  swears in witnesses

keeps time during trial; makes sure that each person stays within the time allotted to that event
